Matthew is the firm’s trial attorney with a diverse practice encompassing personal injury, contractual disputes, family matters, and criminal defense. Matthew has a unique practice in estate planning, tax planning, and tax litigation, and he is a member of the U.S. Tax Courts as well as The Florida Bar. Matthew has experience in both state and federal jurisdictions.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in psychology from Florida International University in Miami. He later obtained his first master’s degree in business finance from Nova Southeastern University. Matthew graduated fourth in his class at NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. He furthered his legal education with a legal master’s degree (LL.M) in taxation from the University of Miami.

Matthew is committed to advocating diligently for his clients to achieve optimal outcomes. He is dedicated not only to winning cases but also to securing victories that genuinely benefit his clients.

Outside of his legal practice, Matthew is actively involved in community service. He volunteers as a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters, mentoring a nine-year-old boy named Isiah. Additionally, he serves as guardian ad litem, advocating for dependent children in need.

Matthew was born and raised in Miami to Scottish and Jewish parents. In his leisure time, he enjoys visiting the beach with his wife, Emy, and their son, Jason.

Passionate about his work, Matthew strives to make a positive impact both inside and outside the courtroom.
